Meet the team:

Vicar

Richard Bartlett

I have been Vicar of Holy Trinity since 2005. I am married to Jenny, and we have three children, Thomas, Benjamin and Katie. Both hailing from the west-country Jenny and I have lived in Dorset, Ealing, and Brazil before moving to Northwood. Every time we move house we have another baby, so have decided to stay at Holy Trinity for a while! Outside of ministry I enjoy playing the trombone, walking in the countryside, and family life. I believe that the church should be an inclusive welcoming place for all the community; with a variety of worship styles and music; where all may grow in faith, and in love of God and one another.

Elaine Dando - Assistant Priest

I have just joined Holy Trinity as Assistant Priest with particular responsibility for developing spirituality and pastoral care. I have had a long and varied life in the Church, spending nearly twenty years as a Vicar’s wife before I was ordained myself. I have ministered in both town and country parishes and, more recently, in the busy, centre of London as Assistant Priest to St Pancras, Euston Road and Chaplain to University College London. I am looking forward to exploring the new and greener environment of Northwood and getting to know people better. I am excited about the challenge of working in such an active and welcoming church.
I am mother to six grown-up children; four girls and two boys, and grandmother to four grandchildren, at present, and enjoy everything that they teach me about love and life.

Readers

Ann Kentfield

We have come to Holy Trinity ever since we moved to Northwood in 1971 – our two daughters were small then, and now we have four grandchildren. I have been a Reader here since 1992 (in the first eight of these years looking after Reader Training in our Area as well). As a 'cradle Christian' I've been part of a number of churches, & my Reader job took me to lots more different ones - I found good ways to God among them all. I do value both the breadth & the community of Holy Trinity. Among other things I am currently our Children’s Advocate.

Margaret Nicholson

I have worshipped at Holy Trinity for nearly 30 years. I have been a licensed Reader since 1990.

Youth Minister

Kevin Draper

I have been working at HT since 2001, I am responsible for the work the church does with those aged 0 - 18 and head up a large team of enthusiastic volunteers.

Youth Assistants

Georgina Carruthers

I am working at Holy Trinity during my Gap Year before I go to University to study Midwifery. I come from Haslemere, Surrey. I am really enjoying my time here at Holy Trinity and enjoy the different tasks I am involved in, such as Bible Club, the toddler group and the youth groups, and I have loved meeting lots of new wonderful people.

James Wood

Hello Everyone! This for me is more my Gap year after University! I am assisting Kevin with the youth and children’s work going on in the school and church. So far I am enjoying the challenges and experience that this year is bringing. I am mainly involved with the ‘Shape’ group, which is year 9+.

Churchwardens

Andrew Newell

I moved to the Parish in 2002 and have been delighted by the welcome I received at Holy Trinity and the diversity and richness of the worship available. I became a churchwarden in 2008 and also serve on the PCC and Finance Committee.

Barry Southcott

I have been worshipping at Holy Trinity for 20 plus years. My main role is a churchwarden and I also edit the parish magazine.

Director of Music

Richard Bates

Holy Trinity is wonderful place to be Musical Director; there is so much music making of all different kinds, and so many talented people who make it. Before being appointed Director of Music in February 2008, I was a Holy Trinity choirboy in the 1990s. Subsequently, I was a music scholar at Winchester College and then took my music degree at Cambridge University. On graduation I was appointed organist at St Magnus the Martyr Parish Church in the City of London, the post I left to join Holy Trinity. I am also a Music Director for various musical theatre productions and companies in London. It is a very exciting time in church music; while retaining the charm of centuries of choral tradition it is necessary to adapt so that music making at Holy Trinity is relevant and complimentary to our worship. I very much hope this is something to which I shall continue to contribute.

Parish Office

Sue Boultbee - Parish Administrator

I have lived in Northwood for 25 years and, with Chris and my two youngest children, been part of Holy Trinity since 1999. I have taught in Connect and now work as Parish Administrator. I enjoy the variety of worship and activities – never a dull moment!
